In one sense, Judas Iscariot is related to Jesus as Jesus is related to God; that is, as the food of Jesus was to do the will of his Father who sent him, so the food of Judas was to do the will of Jesus who sent him. (John 6:57; 13:27)
In another sense, Jesus and Judas abide in one another. (John 6:56)
In still another sense, Jesus is the savior of Judas. (John 6:39,40,44,54)
Moreover, they share a mother. (John 19:26,27)
In short, Judas is The One who ate the flesh of Jesus and drank his blood; and for that reason, he will live forever. (John 6:58) That is the reason the saying went abroad among the brethren that he should not die, not because Jesus said, “If I will that he tarry until I come.” (John 21:23)
