What is the significance of Judas betraying Jesus with a kiss?

Whosoever believes Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss has himself not received Jesus. Although he has done many wonderful works in the name of Jesus, he has not received Jesus. I say this only in my own name, that he might receive him now.

God delivered Jesus into the hands of the chief priests, that Jesus might suffer many things of them, and be killed, and be raised again on the third day.

Jesus delivered himself into the hands of the chief priests, that he might suffer many things of them, and be killed, and be raised again on the third day.

Judas delivered Jesus into the hands of the chief priests. and Jesus suffered many things of them, and was killed, and rose again on the third day.

Judas delivered Jesus into the hands of the chief priests when he served as guide to them who took Jesus. Jesus sent Judas to serve as their guide. That is how Jesus delivered himself into the hands of the chief priests. Jesus sent his servant Judas to serve as their guide.

Judas served Jesus with a kiss.

Jesus came to preach that the Kingdom of God is within grasp.

Jesus chose twelve men and sent them to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, to preach the good news.

The twelve men Jesus chose were given to him by God. Of the twelve, one of them was lost.

Jesus came to save that which was lost.

The will of God was that Jesus raise him up again at the last day.

Just before the last day, the devil put it into the heart of Judas to hand over Jesus to the chief priests, after they commanded that if anyone knew his whereabouts, he should show it.

Judas went to the chief priests and made a covenant with them to hand over Jesus. The making of the covenant was a trespass against Jesus. By this trespass, Judas became a traitor. Judas lifted up his heel against Jesus.

As his first act on the last day, Jesus washed the heel lifted up against him, and thereby he raised him up again who was lost. Jesus did only that which he saw with his Father.

Let no man call unclean that which God has cleansed.

Much remained to be done on the last day.

Jesus declared to the twelve that one of them should hand him over. One of the twelve should eat his food with him, cooperate with him as he did the will of God and finished His work.

That Scripture be fulfilled, Jesus chose the one who had lifted up his heel against him.

Jesus commanded him, “That which you do, do quickly.”

Satan opposed those things of God which Jesus said should happen. Satan entered Judas, but Judas overcame Satan.

The covenant Judas made became the cross which Judas had to take up to follow Jesus.

By taking up his cross at the command of Jesus, Judas glorified him, as Jesus glorified God by taking up his own cross.

Judas served Jesus with a kiss. The kiss was a kiss of love.

What is the significance of Judas betraying Jesus with a kiss? The idea reveals the extent to which men savor not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. The idea reveals the extent to which Satan controls the minds of men.
