Would Judas have betrayed Jesus?

Judas initiated an act of betrayal when he made a covenant to hand over Jesus, after the devil put it into his heart.

Jesus spoke of this initiation of an act of betrayal when he said, “[he] has lifted up his heel against me.”

Jesus responded to this initiation of an act of betrayal when he washed the heel lifted up against him.

This washing by Jesus cast out the prince of this world, which had put it into the heart of Judas to hand over Jesus.

Then Jesus put it into the heart of Judas to hand him over, that the scripture be fulfilled.

As it happened, Judas received Jesus and glorified him.

If Jesus had done nothing about the initiation of an act of betrayal by Judas, then Judas would have betrayed him.
